small groups

The small groups, normally called Discipleship groups, are a key part of our church. This week the leaders are getting together at 8 on Thurs at the church to plan next term and the 40 days of community we will be doing together. if you want to be involved in making this happen please join us!

Most of the small groups wont be happening this week but they are back in action next week, beginning 30th Nov

The Discipleship groups start again properly this week - they are a really encouraging and supportive network of people who pray together for each other. we watch a short DVD that summarises the Sundays talk and all in an informal and spiritually helpful atmosphere. for more info - contact us

Our new series 'let my people go' starts on Sun 20th. It's an opportunity to discover some massive truths and encouragements in the life of Moses who set the slaves free. In the series though we want to see many people released and encouraged into effective ministry and service for Jesus, we want to let Gods people go into all sorts of arenas where we can make a difference

The small groups will start at the same time - ie from the 21st. Please plan to be part of a small group if you aren't already in one. contact us for details, let us know what nights are best

Theres a small group leaders and hosts get together on Tues 15th at the church. It is also open to those who would like to lead or host a group. Again contact us for details

40 days of purpose

This Sunday

This Sunday morning at 9.15 and 10.45 we're starting the series 'a way of wisdom -  ancient life skills from the book of proverbs'. We'll start at the beginning in ch 1 and will also follow this in the small groups next week. To join a group near you please contact us

Discipleship groups

  Theres a discipleship group leaders and hosts get together on Tue 16th Dec at 8 at the church. We'll be looking at some options for next term - we want to do a Sunday morning series on Proverbs - wisdom, integrity, wealth, friendship etc for which neil will produce some dvds each week. Instead of Alpha we are planning to run 40 days of purpose based around the best selling book and a Tuesday night get together at the church. Some groups could use the 40 days DVDs if they wish

Small groups

This week we restart the discipleship groups with the 9 week series that David Proudfoot has devised - the within reach challenge. Each week there's a dvd presentation from David (rather better quality than the disks neil dishes out) discussion questions, role play for the brave, and of course prayer for each other and our world. We're delighted to be starting some new groups this week too. Please join in, get involved and if you want more details of the groups please contact us 

midweek

The small group leaders got together last night with David Proudfoot and we are excited about the prog for this term. There are a few changes to some groups and if you would like to join a group, now is the ideal time. Each evening we'll see a DVD featuring Davids great teaching, then its discussion, prayer and, for the brave some role play. Theres also some practical take home material that will help us reach our world. To join a group, or let us know whats going on please contact us

midweek discipleship groups

Our small groups start again on the week beginning 6th Oct. They're running the 9 week DVD based course that David Proudfoot has put together - the Within Reach Challenge.
As the church grows it's more and more important that the small groups work well and we are keen to encourage everyone to be part of a functioning group where we can learn and grow together, pray for and encourage one another. There are groups all over town. To find out more please contact us
