alpha

Alpha Had another great evening last night at Alpha. Everyone has stayed the course so far and the discussion was fascinating, particularly as we talked about the differences we have noticed in the last few weeks. Last night we looked at 'who is the Holy Spirit and what does he do?' The new kitchen works too!
Next wed its 'How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?'

Alpha

Alpha We are continuing to run Alpha (despite the lack of kitchen - thanks again to Chris for her resourcefulness)  and it's going really well. This week we talked about being sure of our faith and next week it's prayer.

ALPHA

We are going to be starting the next Alpha Course on Wednesday 29 April, 2009 and hope that you will be able to join us for the introductory meal at 8.00 p.m. at Kingsland Church, Lexden.  Alpha_man

Alpha

Alpha man  We finished the Alpha course on Wednesday with a lovely Christmas meal and a talk on healing. After that we prayed for a few people. Thank you so much to everyone who did the course, Alpha is always good fun and as usual it's a shame to see it finish. We hope to start another course after Easter 2009 - with the intro meal on the 29th April

Alpha

Alpha_man_2Really enjoying Alpha. Last night we looked at 'Why did Jesus die?' and had some amazingly open and honest discussion. Next week we are meeting even though it's half term and Jamie will be leading it. The title is meant to be 'How can I be sure?'

Alpha

Alpha_man Alpha starts tonight (8th ) with 'Who is Jesus?' If you're trying to investigate Christianity and want to ask some questions do book in - best to contact us first so we can get enough food in

alpha - wed 1st Oct

Alpha_man Theres still room to book the Alpha course tonight. Its a great way to investigate Christianity, find out more and ask questions 8pm - and it's free

Alpha

Alpha is one of the best things we do as a church. EaAlpha_man ch week we meet together, there's a nice meal , a short talk and then opportunity for discussion and questions about the Christian faith. Alpha is designed for people just looking at Christianity or who are new to the faith or just want to know what its all about.

We run Alpha regularly at the church and our next introductory meal is Wed 1st Oct in the old building.  The meal will be followed by a talk 'Christianity boring untrue and irrelevant?' Coming to the intro doesn't commit you to Alpha which starts the following week and runs each Wednesday till mid Dec (maybe with a break for half term)

The introductory evening and the course is free - but it helps if you book in to let us know numbers. To book or find out more please simply contact us

summer Alpha

Alpha for the summer term finished last night. It's been a really good course again - thanks so much to the people who helped in theAlpha_man  kitchen, and to those who came along and sang or told their story. Last night we had Jamie telling us his story and some of what he gets up to now. brilliant.

Alpha starts again here on Wed 1st October. Its a great opportunity for a lovely meal, a talk and an opportunity to discuss life and ask all sorts of questions. Bring your friends too! To book in please leave a comment here or contact us everyone welcome, but its designed for those thinking about or new to Christianity or church
