Tomorrow, tues 1st , sees our monthly service at this home for elderly residents. A few songs of worship, a short message, a couple of testimonies and an opportunity to talk to the residents make a very useful service. If you are interested in helping please contact us, oherwise please pray for a sense of the presence of God

Lorraine Returns from Romania

After a week in Romania with Steve, Beth and the rest of the Cry in the Dark team, Lorraine has returned and now knows exactly what has captured the hearts of our amazing missionaries. Sundays Media, 23rd Aug

Great to be together again this Sunday.  In the first service we heard from Ally and Gordon talking on "how deep is Gods love?".  the second service was all age and we had great fun with a shoelace eating contest, stories about william the worm, the surprise guest notice reader and of course the fire tunnel - more Joy Lord!  All loosely based around "how high is Gods love?"

Jamie finished the day looking at the next part in Luke, very challenging! Well done everyone - its so good to be together.

HOPE '09 this Saturday

Hope'09 is being held on the 22nd of August (this Saturday) between 10am and 3pm in the town centre, preceeded by a commissioning service at St Peter's church. 

If you want to get involved please contact Jamie Kidd or one of the leaders at the church for more information.

Remember this is not for any specific people with particular callings although welcome, but also for anyone who has a willing and servant heart! A fun day to be had by all!

Children's Groups

Children's groups will be restarting next month. The first of the Sunday morning activities will be on the 6th of September and the mid-week groups will begin the following week.

Dominican republic lunch, etc

Thank you so much to every one who donated to the house building project that the Toddies are doing now in DR. They left on Sunday and were delighted to raise £1000 at the lunch, which took their total to over £4000 to help them build a house or 2.
hopefully we'll hear more when they get back but meanwhile theres a great post from Beth on the travels page.
Seven and neil are off to North africa tomorrow and will try to get a post up too from them and Mike
