This Sunday, 31st May, is Pentecost Sunday and we are delighted that David Proudfoot is speaking at both serivices. the childrens and young peoples groups will be happening too, so ll are welcome at 9.15 or 10.45. As part of each service we will also be saying 'au revoir' to Kat who is spending the next 4 months in Cyprus working with the bar and club workers. We will also so a bit of a receiving meeting in the evening at 6.30 and look at Luke 10 as neil continues the walk with Jeus through Lukes gospel.
Several car loads of people made the trip from Lexden to Sussex to this one day festival. 14,000 people, some great bands and summer sunshine. Delerious, Israel Houghton, Michael w Smith. Sounds great.

We are pleased to be involved in a small way in the prayer room that has been set up in the old baby shop near St Botolphs roundabout. It's open 24hrs a day all week and we are resposible for midday to 7pm on Thursday. Please come along and use this 'holy place' to pray, worship, talk to visitors or just see what's going on
Though Rob does more than his fair share, a hat-trick is unusual - he doesnt normally lead worship at all three services. Today he's done that and gone one better with a visit to the MCTC to lead worship this afternoon at their Alpha as well
We are trying to do a few summer socials over the next few months. The next one is a picnic at the cotts in eight ash green co6 3qb after the second service on June 14th. Bring some food and chairs or a blanket, Drinks will be provided along with a large lawn to picnic on and an area for garden games etc. The weather is sorted. If theres sport on the telly that will be available too
Most of the plastering is now done and lots of wall units are built and fitted. Next week we hope to fit the boiler, water heater and cooker & hood. Good Job Mark!
