Ephesians and Colossians

on Tues 12th May a few of us are getting together at the church at 8 to chat about Ephesians and Colossians. Nothing too heavy, hopefully some insight and opportunity to pray. All welcome, the idea is to read a chapter a day before then. if you would prefer to listen rather than read, or read in a few different versions try bible gateway.com

Sorry it's taken so long but here are the talks from Sunday. In the morning Neil spoke about a genuine encounter with God from Isaiah 6 and Nigel Desborough was our guest speaker in the evening. Theres audio and video here

sunday night

This Sunday evening, 26th, we've invited Nigel Desborugh to help us mark the transistion within kingsland as we gather to say thank you to the Lord for all he has done in and through us, and pray for the different congregations . It's really a spiritual acknowledgement of the fact that the congregations are being released to pursue what the Lord has for us individually. Dave Wuyts is leading worship, there'll be some pics from our history, Nigel is speaking and of course you are very welcome!

who let the dads out?

The next 'who let the dads out' is this Saturday, 25th April from 9.30 to 11.30 at the church. as well as a great time for dads and their pre-school children the main idea is to eat the bacon butties while the children use the toys

Levites - June 09

Just finalising the themes for this year's 'Equipping the Levites' evenings. They run each Monday night in June for musicians, singers and worshippers, basically to help anyone whose ministry involves the worship life of the church, or people who just like to join in! The evenings are designed for worship teams across the town so if you know people involved in leading worship in other congregations do invite them

visitors lunch

Every so often we do a lunch for people who have been to the church half a dozen times or less and want to find out a bit more about us, and meet a few others. The next one is this Sunday after the 2nd service. If you'd like to come along please contact us by Fri lunchtime

Jonah

If you aren't in a small group at the mo and particularly if you dont have a good daily bible reading plan, how about commiting to read the book of Jonah in the old testament before Monday night, (a  chapter a day and you nearly do it twice) then pitch up at the church to talk about it and pray together from 8pm. All welcome, please contact us to go on the mailing list for this small, interesting and challenging group
