Orissa etc

On Saturday 31st we have hired our hall to a group with concerns for India. All are welcome, for the whole evening starting at 6.30 with a meal costing £12.50, or to arrive later to hear first hand of the horrible situation our brothers and sisters face in Orissa.  The evening is organised by a lady called Faith who is part of Maldon Rd chapel and she has invited friends from many local churches

This Sunday

On Sunday 1st Feb we are gathering at 9.15 and 10.45, with coffee in the old building at 10.30. The childrens and youth groups will be meeting and we'll be continuing our series in Proverbs - 'the good life'

In the evening at 6.30 we're delighted to be welcoming Albert and Tina Cannon. Albert was with the Arnotts in Toronto for 9 years, met and married Tina there, and they're now are based in the UK and often see signs and wonders. We are looking forward to hosting them on Sunday

Just updated the diary pages with some guest speakers - the first this sunday night; Albert and Tina Cannon, some womens breakfasts and the next prayer engine on 13th Feb. Check it out here

Welcome lunch

This Sunday, 1st Feb, we are holding a lunch for anyone who has visited the church, started coming recently or who has been around a handful of times. We have a good meal together, a chance to meet a few people and neil will do a short presentation on the life and values of the church. It's a way to hear in ten minutes what it might take 6 months to pick up! To book please contact us or leave a comment

 Here is Neils talk from yesterday morning. As we continue looking at Proverbs we are dealing with the key subject of Wisdom.  Video and previous talks will be in the usual place shortly.

Street pastors

The next round of street pastors training starts on Sat 21st Feb from 10 - 4 at St Johns. It then runs approx every other Fri night and another Saturday session. Please see the notices or contact them direct if you are interested in being involved in this amazing and valuable ministry. Church members are welcome to accompany the street pastors by prior arrangement, and the team are always keen for people to pray in Eld lane late on a Friday or Saturday night
