Revolution

Following the great night with Kristian the other week, the revolution kicks off with the first of its Sunday night slots. 6.30 in the old building at Kingsland this weekend.

Christmas wrapping

Our own Christmas wrapping in the town on a late night shopping night this week will be followed by the Inter church Hope 08 opportunity on Wed 17th. If you want to join in by giving out mince pies, singing carols, wrapping presents or chatting to people, please  contact us or talk to Jo or Vivienne

Hope at Christmas

On 17th Dec we have an opportunity to bless the town with other churches on the late night shopping slot. We are looking for teams of people to wrap presents, sing carols, serve and talk to people and generally bless the town. It starts at 7 at Eld lane, all welcome but if you want to use the gospel questionnaire you need to get some training first. Please contact us for more details
Jo and Chris are also doing this on the 10th and it would be great if a bundle of others would join them

Renton

 A reminder about the great opportunity we have this Saturday to hear Renton Baker's story at the Saturday night project. Starting at 6pm this punchy service will feature Renton and his double life as a family man and football hooligan. Well worth a listen, and please invite friends.

Saturday night project

Delighted that on sat 8th Nov Renton Baker, ex Arsenal hooligan will be telling his story at the Saturday night project. Not to be missed. 6pm.

freedom in this place - 14 6 08

Tonight is the saturday night project, starting at 6pm. There will be worship , prayer and a punchy sermon. please come along. This is the "freedom in this place" event for saturday night so there will be no meeting at 8pm but the opportunity to receive and be blessed through the Saturday night project

Hour of Power

From Mon 21st Jan - 28th Feb Sarah S is leading an hour of power at the church from 12.30 till 1.30 Mon - Fri, in the old building each day. Its around 40 days and of course you are welcome.  Sarah has a gentle and powerful way of bringing the manifest presence of God. Come, worship, pray and be refreshed in the middle of the day

Tony Anthony back at Kingsland

Tony Anthony is coming back! On Sat 19th Jan he and Jamie are presenting 'Release, taking the brakes off the great commision' from 10 - 4 at Lexden. The £5 cost includes a light lunch. Tony is also speaking at the Saturday night Project at 6pm on the same day. An excellant oportunity to invite friends.  Leaflets for both these event available now.

Tony wrote on this blog in December .... 'I am so passionate about sharing the Gospel with the world that I would literally rather be dead than not share it. One of the smartest ways to do evangelism is to train others to do the same, and it gives me no greater privilege than to invite you to one of our "Release" evangelism conferences that we are holding in Colchester on 19th January 2008.

' Release is an evangelism training conference designed to motivate, equip and mobilise people to confidently, joyfully and effectively participate in the Great Commission. Can I encourage you to seize the opportunity and maximise the potential in using this training resource to build faith and build the Church. It would be great to see you there!

saturday night project

The saturday night project returns this week at 6pm on Saturday at the church. Its a short, lively service and this month Dora Maria will be speaking. Come and bring everyone!
