Hi All,
Michael Duncalfe from MAF spoke to us on Sunday on Mathew 8 v18-22. His main message was that when we are called to follow Jesus we are called to the person not to the task. Jesus will make sure we have the resources to accomplish the task because He is totally trustworthy and will never let us down.

Jonathan is ending our journey on the Road to Maturity. His basic message today is that when God prospers His people they tend to stray away. We need to learn the lesson of dependence in the wilderness so we will continue to lean on Him when He brings us into the promised blessing.

Jonathan continues with the Song of Songs chapter 5. He tells us that we should follow the maidens example and put our lives in the hands of a safe God. We must not doubt the love of God for He is with us when we feel the chill of the North wind or meet the watchmen on the wall.

Jonathan continues with the series, the Road to Maturity with chapter 3 of Song of Songs. He interprets it as a quest for the Christian who wants intimacy with the King, a church being wooed by her Saviour and charting the road to spiritual maturity.
I have learned that God has ordained that we walk by faith and faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
