Upside Down, Inside Out...

Another week, another day, another hour, another minute..How best we spend our time here?

Are we givers, or are we takers?

Do we sow or hoard a harvest?

Is our time ours?

I have just completed another HIllsong Conference, and along with 4200 other volunteers, we made the conference work, we served a vision, we served with all our heart, emotion and strength....The days were long and busy, our bus left at 6am and did not return much before midnight, yet on the last day i worked a 20 hour day..This is a church that moves forward, that is consumed with seeing our church, the message of Christ heard throughout the land, it is a church that never sleeps!....I am overwhelmed to be part of this, it really is a privilege. Walking into the main arena seeing 25000 people worshipping God is always going to stir you, to move you i mean the presence of God was overwhelming yet i was more concerned with being outside and ensuring everything was working well and under control.....There was many highlights, yet one of the great privileges was shaking the hand of Reinhard Bonke, an awesome awesome man...

God is moving, as ever and many challenges still await me in the future, trying to understand where i fit and what my heart is saying, and in all that what God wants.....I will be here for a while yet, I'm enjoying the time here, even though busy much of the time all is good.

I'm still working with the community kids, and currently putting together a fund-raising model to approach a wealth of companies for support for this ministry..Furthermore my presence is ever down 'The Block' where desperation still reigns, but Christ is sovereign. We have a kinda serviced on a Friday night, its growing and we are leaning on God, trusting in this calling.....

So i serve and i serve, im committed, i want to see lives changed, its non stop, but i believe we will see great fruit as we sew these seeds, people are coming into the house and getting touched by God, ultimately its eternity for these souls, not darkness.....

Im up for building the church, to see the kingdom move forward, to see lives turned around, im sick of wot the devil is doing...........

ooops...

oh my gosh, time does fly past, please forgive my 'slack'....been rather busy, yet here is no excuse to for a 10 minute reflection to all at lexden...

Obviously much has happened, many areas of my life have been completely changed, and Im most certain God will continue not only to guide me, but show me areas of my heart which need the 'fine tune' (ouch)!....

Today is an early morningImg_2365  Sunday, i had a rather late night by my standards, Saturday night was a social at a local bar (no booze for me) with a large group from church.. Actually it was rather fun, apart from the late night, as i like to be in bed with 'the book' at 10pm!!...does that mean im getting old???!

Saturday kids program was absolute CHAOS...but obviuosly in that situation it was great, as the kids were all a huge handful, not listening, messing around, fighting etc etc...it means they were the needy ones, all praise to God for guiding them to us..

I have just finished my 1st term of 2nd year, the time is just flying past. Still busy each day of the week, however i now only serve in the 7pm service Sundfay night, which allows a bit of 'me time'..

I have dreams, and finallly after going through so much am beginning to believe God for them. He has opened so many doors for me it blows me away sometimes..I was sitting in church last week, watching the great Reggie Dabbs speak, i have seen many of the great speakers of theis world, the highlight being Reinhard Bonkee speak to the city congregation of 1000 people...God gave me a picture last week of me sitting in kingsland church a few years back, and kinda said to me 'You See'.. He was showin me how far he had taken me, and Im believing for much bigger things..

How exciting is it to know the Creator of the universe, and to have a REVELATION he is working in your life....All we need to do is trust him, and love him.....pretty simple...some of you need to hear that.

well, i gotta dash, i have been talking to a broken man who lives near to church, he is a hopeless case, very broken, very dependant on shutting the world out with booze....I hope to take him to the house of God today, see if the goodness and love of Jesus can break down the huge walls he has around his heart....

I have a class called homeletics, the art of preaching, our tutor is Robert Fergusson, who is an amazing communicator...so blessed.

any way we had to prepare a short sermon...I used Neils life and passion for God, and how his life had been cruely ripped from him by his weakness the devil used......I will build on the message, fine tune it, and continue to preach to many i hope..Neils life will make a difference, as God called it to.

Must go, bless you guys, remember servanthood, what are you doing to see the church move forward, are you the church or do you rely on Neil and his team to give you church. Does God reign in you life?   Does he consume your thoughts? Is he the reason you live?....Or is he there just for a Sunday morning?

isaiah 26:3 ' you will keep in perfect peace him whos mind is steadfast because he trusts in you...Trust in the Lord God forever'

God bless you all....xxxxEmail_1

13 floors....

Hello to you all, i have finally mastered the techno age and managed to log into the marvelous 'Kingsland'  site, currently you are all asleep (i trust) and im upside down in the heat...

All is well, this fine wednesday afternoon i have just finished lectures and about to head to an area called The Block, where i do a weekly ministry..Its a very run down area of redfern which is rather rough,  we are welcomed with open arms  however that said we do need to excercise an element of common sense...I had my first experience of mugging there last year!

Its a part of a kids program we run on a saturday morning, kinda an intro to church for all the hard nuts from the inner city community. We get a whole bunch of crazy, lawless children from the ages of 3 up to 10 years, the change we see over time just cements in my heart the reason i get up exhausted on a saturday morning to bring consistency, encouragement, love and hope to a very seriously broken generation...I believe to see these kids rise up and do amazing things in their lives, furthermore the lives of others...I love them all dearly.......

So i just see the time and i must dash, its a pleasure to talk with you all, you are all very special to me..

i will send more, and can i send photos i wonder???!!

Bless you all....thankyou...x

Paul
