It's going really well down here in the bountiful land of Surrey, haha, but honestly i'm doing really well, term 2 is flying past and I'm really loving it, I'm actually heading up to blackpool in a couple of days - theres a big ellel conference which all the stdents are going to, so it should be an experiance.....

As i said earlier, term 2 is flying by and i'm currently seeking God's face for where he wants me next, whether i am to stay and do the next term, which is the mission term to south africa.... where ill get to teach etc.... or if im to do something else..... so im putting fleeces down...... at the moment.....

but yer... i missed kingsland the last few weeks so ive been looking at the live video feeds every now and again... its very impressive and good fun to see everyone completly oblivious to me haha, i really hope that ill be able to come back soon and catch up with people... however from now till the end of term i have no more free weekends :( busy busy busy.....

Anyway, i must sleep, i have a guy called Lee Grady talking to me tomorrow about women in ministry... aparently he has something to do with a magazine called Charisma.... not really sure... so i need some sleep!

Well, the joys of living overseas means that I have to write newsy articles, rather than tell or phone. I wish there was a more personal way of doing this.... So as you know, Bas and I have been dating for the last year and a half and we've talked a lot lately about where God is leading us. Well, this weekend we made the decision, rather, Bas made the decision and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes! I must admit, it was a little bit surreal. Hollywood never prepares you for what happens in the moments after you say 'yes', movies always move into the wedding or future. I didn't really know what to say! God willing, we are hoping to get married in October, there's some papers and legal stuff we have to do, especially as I'll be moving back to Vancouver as 'Mrs Verkerk', name changes on work permit and all that. I wish I could have shared this with you personally, but I will hopefully see most of you in May when I come home for a week or so to go dress shopping with Mum and have a chance to gather my thoughts. How are you all? How're things in the UK?
