The "NOW" word.

Ryan described the extempore worship really well and how he practices
this before hand in the 'quiet place' and then devlivers this at a later
date.

There is obviously the prophetic voice in there as well but how do we get
the rhema word, the now word, out when prophetic insight, words and songs
try to spill out of us during the worship time.... totally unprepared and
unrehearsed?

Vocal warm up

At Week 2 of this year's program, Dawn said something along the lines of
spending 20-30 mins warming up your voice before getting into worship.
Does anyone really have 20-30 mins before a service begins? And how close
to worship time do I need to warm up - right before it?  Or is an hour
earlier good enough?  I ask because in my church, we have 1 hour of Bible
class before worship begins - and I can imagine the kind of looks I'd get
if I try to warm up my voice during Bible Class!

Non Vocal worship leader?

In recent history worship music has changed from leading melody via the organ and piano to a vocally lead by the worship leader with the instruments supporting this lead but not necessarily playing the melody to lead a congregation.  If this is the trend of modern worship music, does this leave any room for a non vocalist to lead worship?

And on a similar point and related point … if you look at the role models of the majority of worship leaders today, almost all lead vocally with either guitar or key.  If you don’t play guitar or keys is there a role for you as a worship leader and what is it?

Two Guitars? In one Band?

How would we make best use of 2 guitars in one band. Why?

Pursuing a "free-er" style of worship

How does a worship team pursue a more free, Holy spirit lead style of worship when there might be people in the congregation resisting the style.  Do we push for change and risk division?
